La Roux – Damaged Goods

I was commissioned by Catherine Mayer, ‘Gang Of Fours’ Andy Gill’s widow and friend, to direct the video for La Roux’s cover of Damaged Goods.

Taking inspiration from Gang of Four’s notorious on-stage destruction of microwaves, the film sees La Roux — wearing Andy’s favourite coat — unleash her own attack on a row of microwaves.
